Roma’s Legacy was created to honour my best friend by doing what she loved most – playing football – while supporting mental health. By bringing people together for this annual charity tournament, we raise funds for MIND and open up honest conversations about how we’re really doing. Our mission is simple: turn our love of the game into hope, support and life‑changing help for those who need it most.

Roma’s Legacy Charity Football Tournament Date: 31 May 2026 Time: 12:00 – 21:00 Location: Everett Rovers Football Club, Dodd Rd, Watford, WD24 5FS Football was Roma’s sport – the game he loved and the place our friendship grew. This tournament brings people together on the pitch to support mental health and raise funds for MIND. Teams: 6 team spaces available Squad size: Minimum 15 players per team Entry fee: £20 per player

Roma was my best friend from the day we started secondary school. We played on every school team we could, and our friendship was built through sport. Roma’s Legacy is a way to turn that love of the game into support for mental health, so others get the help they need before it’s too late.
